Charlotte Rhys luxury range

Hello October! Just like that, we are in my birthday month and we are leaving the warm season! It is getting colder and darker here in Manchester, so it is time to take out the jackets and coats.

The Autumn season could also mark the transition of new fragrances and new skincare, moving from the fresh and floral fragrances to more woody and spicy fragrances, and I am doing it this year with Charlotte Rhys.

Founded in Cape Town, South Africa, Charlotte Rhys is home to premium fragrances with luxurious vegan cruelty-free ranges. Currently in expansion across the UK, and with an inspiration from nature and innovation, follows sustainable practices to create their products. The Charlotte Rhys range also includes bath, body and lifestyle products for you to sit back and enjoy like you were in a luxury spa.

I kindly received some of their products to try out:

Eau de Portugal – Oud Noir

Described as strong and seductive, with a masculine twist fragrance by Charlotte Rhys, the Eau de Portugal is a great addition to the winter months. I would describe it similar to oriental scent, with woody warm notes of incense, sandalwoods and vanilla. This is a fragrance I would be using during the weekends, on special occasions like dinner outs, dates and that party you want to make your perfume stand out.

Destress Aftershave Balm – N. 17

An aftershave balm is a product that you will always find in my bathroom, probably a couple of them, as I like to swap them depending on the day and my mood. The Destress Aftershave Balm is perfect to smooth and moisturise the skin after shaving. This one comes with the N. 17 fragrance, which is probably more citric and I personally prefer it, with notes of yuzu, lemon and tarragon.

Hand Cream – N. 17

Hand cream is a product that has become essential on my day, after using the hand sanitiser many times a day, my hands are drier so a hand cream comes in my backpack wherever I go. With the same fragrance notes as the Aftershave balm, this hand cream keeps my hands moist and soft during the day.

If you are looking for luxury spa products, The Charlotte Rhys range definitely delivers the expectations, I would recommend more the N. 17 fragrance because it is more me, citrus and refreshing.
