Anthony Skin Care Review
Happy New Year to everyone!! I am back after the Christmas break and hope you have had a great time!!
Since December, I have been using some products from a great company that Maleskin sent to me, this time they are facial products from Anthony Skin Care. As you know I already collaborated with Maleskin in my post about Jack Black, that you can check here if you haven´t seen it before.
If you haven’t read my other post yet, just to summarize, Maleskin are an online company where you can find the best grooming products in the market and with great competitive prices, however the most important consideration is that their online shop is specifically designed for men, by men.
Now, let's talk about Anthony Skin Care and their Products. This brand was founded in 2000, by Anthony Sosnick, who recognized the lack of quality prestige grooming products for men. The products are designed with natural ingredients designed to be used from head to toe, and they are a premium brand in the market suitable for everyone. Besides, Anthony also develops products for women.
The products that I have been using are suitable for most skin types, so you won’t have to worry if you have oily, dry or sensitive skin they will work well on you!! These products really do their job well and I was pleasantly surprised with the Glycolic Exfoliating and Resurfacing Wipes. The products below are perfect for a skincare routine to maintain your skin smooth, clean and clear.
Exfoliating & Cleansing Bar
As you can see from the name, this is an exfoliating and cleansing bar of soap that can be used for both face and body. The bar has a dual-action which will help to eliminate impurities and dead skin cells, besides, it contains Shea Butter and Coconut Oil to keep the skin hydrated, moist and soft. I use it in the morning when I am having a shower, I massage my face with it to create a rich lather, I feel is really cleans and exfoliates my face well making it feel smooth and soft. I like to use it not only on my face but also on my body as well, it has a refreshing cucumber extract and grapefruit fragrance, you know that I am obsessed with smells and the first thing that I did when I opened it was smell the bar. *Advice: You can use even if you have a bad skin or any skin problems as it is paraben free and allergy and dermatologist tested.
Anthony Glycolic Facial Cleanser
This product helps to clean, clear and purify your skin in your daily routine. It is made with 4.9% glycolic acid that gently exfoliates your skin, it is free from paraben and does not produce foam. I normally use it instead of the bar if I am going to shave as this product contributes to softening and lifting the stubble, preventing razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I use it if I am going out for dinner and I have been working or in the gym and need to clean my face, just squeeze the lotion onto your hands and apply to your face, for better results in circular motions, after a couple of mins rinse with water, I prefer with warm water as you will feel your skin more revitalizing. Anthony Glycolic Exfoliating and Resurfacing Wipes
Third product and last one that I have tried from Anthony. I mentioned it before, this product really caught my attention since the first moment that I used it, and I love it. When I saw them, and checked the price I thought ouch! It is a bit pricey, but that thought soon disappeared when I used the first wipe, every single man in the world needs this in his cabinet!! Well, as you know they are wipes, but these wipes are formulated with glycolic acid with a textured side to over clean, exfoliate and remove dirt and impurities, the other side helps to hydrate, refresh and smooth the skin. I use them after the previous product or just on their own if you are travelling or on holidays, so you don’t have to bring all the lotions or creams. Remember that you do not need to rinse your face after using the wipes, but I recommend using moisturizer after it. You can find them here.
I wanted to finish this post just explaining a bit more from Anthony and why I find them a great company.
